Migdal JCC of Odesa built a sukka in their courtyard and decorated it with kids’ paintings and arts and crafts. Every day the sukka was full of community members – children and parents. Special guests were elderly – members of the Odesa Regional Association of Ghetto and Concentration Camps Survivors, and children with special needs from at-risk group. Activists of AJT club ran a culinary master-class for younger kids. They made special cakes and smoothies and then treated all visitors with the specialties. The sukka was also the place of celebrating birthdays of those Migdal JCC members that had been born in the month of Tishrei.
