Happy Hanukkah to all our Friends! As we are getting ready to light Hanukkah candles, we want to thank Everyone who is helping people to survive this cold and dark winter in Ukraine. We want to especially thank Marina Sapritsky-Nahum for organizing two very important campaigns: Family to Family Winter Clothes Drive and Pack for Ukraine Hanukkah Gifts for Refugees.
Every week starting from the end of October, Marina and Jewish families from London were collecting, packing and shipping packages with winter coats, shoes, and winter clothing to Odesa for distribution at Migdal’s Netzach Center. These packages are vitally needed for families in Odesa and refugees from Mykolaiv, Kherson, Mariupol and other parts of Ukraine in the midst of the raging war and brutal winter.
Since the beginning of December, Chabad Belgravia has been preparing Hanukkah Gifts for Refugees to be shipped and distributed in Migdal’s Netzach Center during Hanukkah, which will bring a lot of light and joy to all in need.
Thank you to all our Friends from London, the Nahum Family, Chabad Belgravia, and Everyone who donated, and helped to pack and ship all packages! We all are waiting for a miracle, and hope that the miracle of Hanukkah will bring us closer to a real peace!
