Migdal International Society, Inc. is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) company, organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, and scientific purposes as specified in section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Migdal International Society, Inc. was incorporated in New York, USA in 2007 and received its 501 (c)(3) status in 2009.
Migdal International Society’s, Inc. mission and main objective is to provide help, financial and infrastructural support to a network of existing and developing social and cultural Jewish institutions, particularly in vulnerable communities where life of Jews is made difficult. Yiddishkeit and social justice are at the heart of all of our unique existing and developing programs. We believe that Jews are responsible for one another worldwide.
Migdal International Society, Inc. currently contributes to Jewish community in Odesa, Ukraine, which was one of the largest and most popular Jewish communities of the world before World War II, and currently still accounts for one of the most vibrant Jewish communities of 40,000 people. Odesa’s Jews produced some of the world’s best musicians, doctors, writers, scientists, and many others.
Migdal International Society, Inc.currently provides support to the Migdal International Center for Jewish Community Programs, Migdal-Mazl Tov Early Childhood Development Center, Odesa Jewish Museum Migdal-Shorashim, Netzah Help Center, Beiteinu Center for Jewish Children and Families at Risk, and more. Migdal International Society, Inc. will support all new, future, and developing Jewish initiatives worldwide, if they are determined to be mission critical.
