Migdal Freedom Program

Migdal Freedom program is a unique circle of support for children with disabilities and ensures that nobody struggles and suffers alone. Inclusion, socialization, and adaptation of physically and mentally disabled children are the core of our program. Migdal volunteers actively help all participants with all their needs.

MIgdal Freedom allows to connect disabled children with other children and teens for friendship, development, inclusion, conversation, companionship, help, learning, understanding, and various creative activities.

During the pandemic, Migdal Freedom continued to pair up teenages with disabled and disadvantaged at risk children who met with each other online regularly. Our volunteers actively helped with the food and other goods deliveries and took part in numerous events helping the disabled to survive quarantine.

Even since the beginning of the war that started on February 24, 2022 we make sure that no child is left behind, and no family suffers alone. Parents who have disabled children have chronic panic, anxiety attacks, and constant fear. When they hear the sound of sirens, it is very difficult for them to quickly move to safety with children who can’t behave adequately under the circumstances. Sometimes it is completely impossible for them to move anywhere, so we provide care to families with diabled children as well.

Migdal Freedom invites and includes children with disabilities and their families to all holidays celebrations and makes them feel special. During the joyful Lag BaOmer celebration, our volunteers organized transportation, so all children could participate and feel as part of the community. Creative activities, master classes, puppet theater, cotton candies, aquatic makeup, and a lot more were all part of a bright and unforgettable experience. We are proud of all our program participants and volunteers, who give their time and energy to see disabled children’s smiles and joy!
