Migdal’s Crisis Relief Fund for Odesa and Southern Ukraine

It has been many months since the beginning of the horrifying wartime reality in Ukraine. All Ukrainian cities are aggressively bombarded with an attack that has suddenly started from unexpected directions, including heavy airstrikes, use of tanks, armored vehicles and missiles. It is heart-wrenching to think that Odesa, a strategic sea port and one of the most beautiful cities in the world, is one of those cities!
Since the beginning of the war, Migdal’s team in Odesa is working 24/7 to help to evacuate women and children as well as to take care of homebound elderly, Holocaust survivors, and people with disabilities who can’t evacuate. In the struggle with all the difficulty and chaos, we are making great efforts to provide support to people who are in desperate need of food, water, clothing, shelter, medicine, emergency care, medical supplies, transportation, and other vital necessities.
Migdal’s team is working 24/7 hotlines where everyone can call for help, including help with connecting those in need with doctors, delivering medications, and introducing those who are evacuating to European friends offering to host refugees. We are helping everyone not only from Odesa, but also people from all parts of Ukraine, including Mykolaiv, Kherson, Mariupol, Kyiv, and other cities. We are also on the ground in Moldova and Romania helping people with their documents and logistics for evacuation.
Migdal’s team is helping people to survive and stay strong in the midst of a raging war and the times of crisis! The costs are enormous and funds are desperately needed! Rescuing every person and family in extremely harsh conditions is a fortune and very complex!
